Ever Mixed a Margarita or shaken up a Singapore Sling?
If you’re looking for something different to impress friends, family and colleagues then this is for you! You can learn a new social skill and find out more about the fine art of cocktail making by joining the experts at The Refectory for the Cocktail Course.
The 5 session course is held at 6.30pm on Monday evenings at The Refectory within The Black Friars Distillery – home of Plymouth Gin. Candidates will discover more about the spirits themselves, participating in a comparative tasting discussion, with a short presentation on production methods and history of each. You will then move on to learn the techniques of true cocktail making, producing 2 classic cocktails to enjoy!

COCKTAIL OF THE MONTH
There has been some considerable changes here at the refectory in the past month with most of the old bartending virtuosos moving on to other prejects. While the new faces settle in there has been a hiatus on cocktail of the month and live music wednesdays. Our sincerest apologies to devotees of these two refectory institutions and may we resassure you that both will soon return.
